The Monkey’s Paw – October 31, 2023

Herbert and Martha White live a quiet, unassuming life alone together ever since their only son moved out. Their mortgage payment is two months past due, their bills are piling up, and they have little hope of keeping their home. All seems lost until a mysterious cloaked stranger comes visiting with a note, and a grotesque monkey’s paw.  The mysterious figure leaves them the artifact and its power to grant three wishes.
But as with all bargains that seem too good to be true, it probably is. What follows is a journey of horror that consumes Mr. and Mrs. White until the bitter end. The Monkey’s Paw is an enduring story that has terrified readers for over 100 years. And in this original stage adaption of the classic masterpiece. Mr. and Mrs. White will be reminded of a timeless lesson, one we would all do well to heed:
Be careful what you wish for…………….(insert sinister laugh here).
